It got less stars because it's similar to another CD. I would have ordered another CD, but whatever. There is such a difference between the 2 CDs.
Same with Warriors of the World, I didn't listen to this record when it came out, until Manowar played 2 songs from it at a recent gig at Berlin (I travelled from Greece for this concert btw). I was like, ''why the hell don't I know these awesome songs?'' So I ordered these albums to make my collection complete. Gods of War is probably my favourite later Manowar album. The songs are epic and grandiose. I know some people like the more straightforward heavy metal approach (i.e. ''Louder than Hell'') but for me, Manowar is an epic metal band, and Gods of War is an epic metal album...

grate album! the only thing I don't like is the incomprehensible font on the cover - lyrics and text. Yes, it looks cool with the runes, but it's unreadable
